April 11, 1906, the town of Lugaut ceases to exist;

it is divided into two parts Lugaut-Retjons one hand, and Bourriot-Bergonce the other.

In 1951, the name Lugaut is permanently deleted to only keep Retjons.

(Note that the town’s sign was simply sawn off)
